Happy ANZAC Day.
I didn’t join in with the traditional ANZAC Day traditions. I was still asleep when the dawn services were taking place, and I didn’t see anyone playing Two-Up (a game that is illegal in Australia on every day except ANZAC Day as it is deemed to be illegal gambling!)
I had a gentle drive this morning. For a change, the satnav sent me on a quieter route, though all the roads were quiet today. There were a couple of places that were suggested for me to visit on the way, but I decided just to press on through.
On the road to Mudgee
Despite the forecasts that the weather would change, kit has been a warm dry week, and by this afternoon the temperature was in the 70s with bright sunshine. I took a taxi into town to get something to eat and drink at the Three Tails brewery, which had a remarkable set of beer taps.

Then back to the hotel, sitting on the balcony and reading while my laundry was being washed.
