Inside St Paul's

St Paul's Cathedral

Sunday morning, and off to St Paul’s Cathedral (they have one here too). It was a good service, but going for coffee afterwards, I suddenly felt completely drained. An answer to prayer came in the form of a lovely lady called Margaret who came and talked to me.

From the cathedral, I went to the Immigration Museum. This told both the story of the immigrants, and also part of the story of the impact they had on the native Australians, including their long fight for recognition of their rights and status within society. My only complaint about the museums I have visited is that there is a real shortage of seating within the exhibitions.

Back to the Elephant & Wheelbarrow for Sunday lunch (roast lamb) then back to the hotel. After night had fallen, I walked down to the river to take some night pictures but was unable to find my camera release – until I got back to the hotel!
