April 26th - Day 28

Upper Lockyer

Creek (noun) - an Australian word meaning a valley or depression containing one or more of the following:

  • Running water
  • Still water
  • No water
  • A bad smell

This morning I went to the Queensland Transport Museum. It was disappointing, being a collection of trucks packed together so closely that you could not admire them properly. Not the best way to spend $7.50.

The Floating Cafe - because during a flood it did float

In the afternoon, I went for a walk around the property. I was doing OK, until I tried to cut back because of threatening clouds. I was trying to follow the power lines, but got completely lost and had to retrace my steps. With rain threatening, David came out for me in the ute. I got back but the rain did not materialise. Oh well.
