April 9th - Day 11
Sunshine Coast to Upper Lockyer
Last morning at Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast. A pleasant drive to Eumundi, to visit the market there. It was a proper mixture, with food stalls, local crafts and various other bits and pieces.
But in there, a real find. A native Australian artist, called Terry Kunge, was at work. He not only paints, but also makes and decorates boomerangs, didgeridoos and bull-roarers. After some humming and hahing, I bought a $100 boomerang, made from root wood and hand decorated.
Welcome to Eumundi Market!
With Terry and the boomerang
I also bought a pendant for Joy. Because she was born in April, she is a dingo, which is about confidence.
From there we went to Ipswich hospital to visit a friend who was in after a heart attack. He was extremely cheerful, and they were a very nice couple.
Then home. Took a stroll down the drive to enjoy the sunset.

Then TV and and an early night.
