These three days were spent doing not very much, apart from one very upsetting incident (see below).
We made several trips to Toowoomba. I was particularly glad to go back to Picnic Point because this was where the three of us went for coffee on the first morning of my 2016 trip to Australia.

One area where I was let down a little was the beer scene. I went to three outlets and each one was a disappointment.
On the first night, we went to Monty's, where the food was disappointing and the best beer was a guest. Wednesday was planned as a beerish day. I suggested lunch at Bone Idol. I felt the food was not bad, but they had a problem with the gas lines so could not serve any beer! Finally I tried Mouse-Proof. This was in an old dairy. The building was dim and uninspired, and the one available beer matched its surroundings.
