March 30th - Day 1
Peel to Warrington
…and already things have gone wrong.
As the ferries to Liverpool, there is a free coach there. I think I will save money, since it will drop me at Lime St for a shorter (and cheaper) train ride.
Well it did, but in the hurry to get off the coach I left my rucksack on it! First instinct - panic. Next, taxi to the Pier Head in case the coach goes there. It didn't - panic 2! Rang the Steam Packet and they found my bag and delivered it to me! So panic over, but in need of a restorative.
Thank goodness for the Ship & Mitre! And at least it was sunny.
